Hello, welcome and thanks for stopping by.This is a picture of my dog. There is no reason for his photo but he makes me smile every day, so I thought he might make you smile a little as well.
Due to a number of factors, including procrastination, I haven’t had a website for my business in more than two years. As a designer the hardest thing I do is promoting and developing branding for myself and a website is detrimental to any business, especially those of us that sell online. It’s not that I’m a perfectionist (and if you saw the state of my house you’d see how that’s true), but when it comes to ourselves, we always hold ourselves to a higher standard. Believe me, if it wasn’t for getting to a point where I just couldn’t deal with it anymore, I’d still be working on my own logo. But you have to get to a stage where you can be happy with what you have. I also strive for that in my design.
I’m hoping that I can delve a little bit more into my motivation, ideas and current projects in this blog. I’ll post both in-progress and completed works. Anyway, I want to keep this first post short since in my written word, I tend to be somewhat verbose and I don’t want to scare anyone off. 😉 Hope you’ll come back and see what we’re up to in the near future.
